TAXITAXI

Punk band TAXITAXI performs in uniform at schools, supermarkets, churches and clinics - no English, no wasted words. The three members play songs with at most four sentences, structured so the audience has to join in. Fans of the short, punchy tracks of Hang Youth and The Hives will recognize the energy, but the silly vibes of The B-52s and the sex appeal of the Backstreet Boys are there too. Social relevance is not lacking: songs like "Do you want to see my VWO diploma", "People talk" and "Terrified" speak for themselves.

FOEK!

FOEK! gives a knowing wink and raises a middle finger to injustice, men and politicians. Activist lyrics with hooks that stick around, somewhere between Hang Youth and Doe Maar - their ska-punk blasts through any sound system as a soundtrack for protests that feel like parties. By the end of the night you're sweaty and hoarse, you've lost your friends on the dance floor and you've found the solution to everything.
