Brian Wayne Transeau - better known as BT - helped define trance and IDM in the 1990s and remains celebrated for his technical ingenuity: the stutter edit, for which he holds patents, is a staple of modern production. Beyond his DJ sets he composes film scores and leads the AI audio tech company SoundLabs.
