Van Tastik is the stage name of a Virginia-born musician who tours Europe as a one-man band, based in Utrecht. Armed with a resophonic guitar and a suitcase bass drum, he plays a self-styled blend of gothic folk, southern rock and country blues. Since hitting the road in 2017 he has clocked over 100 shows a year, with appearances at the BBC Scotland Live Fringe Stage and the Eden Festival.
