About
The Steepwater Band is a blues rock trio from Chicago fronted by guitarist and singer Jeff Massey. Their sound mixes raw Muddy Waters-style blues with the grit of ZZ Top and the sprawling guitar work of The Allman Brothers, leaning heavily on southern rock and americana. Active for over two decades, the band built a loyal following on both sides of the Atlantic through relentless touring and shared stages with acts like Gov't Mule and Buddy Guy.
