About
The Scratch are a Dublin folk-metal band formed in 2016 by members of the heavy metal group Red Enemy. They built their following by busking on the streets of Dublin, blending acoustic guitars, cajón and Irish traditional music with metal-grade intensity - a viral busking video launched them onto the international circuit. Their second album Mind Yourself (2023) was nominated for the Choice Music Prize and debuted at number one on the Irish vinyl chart. Third album Pull Like a Dog followed in March 2026 on Sony Music Ireland, produced by John 'Spud' Murphy.
