The Metal Studs is a Dutch classic rock cover band founded by bassist Barend Courbois and guitarist Ruud de Gruijter after a chance reunion on a Caribbean cruise. Their set draws from hard rock and heavy metal staples - Van Halen, Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, Whitesnake and more - delivered with Hammond organ, twin bass drum and thick, heavy riffs.
