The Darkraver, born Stefan André Sweet on 12 September 1967 in The Hague, is one of the most distinctive figures in Dutch hardcore and gabber music. Alongside DJ Gizmo, he is considered a defining voice of the Hague hardcore scene and co-created the rallying cry 'Hakkûh!', which became synonymous with the gabber dance style. His 2005 single 'Kom-tie dan hè!' (with DJ Norman) hit number one in the Dutch Mega Top 100, crossing over from the underground into the mainstream.
