About

SPKtR is the revival project of SPK, the Australian industrial-synthpop band founded in 1978 by Graeme Revell and Neil Hill. Drawing on Kraftwerk, Can and John Cage, SPK forged a cold, abrasive sound and became notorious for live performances involving metal scrap and welding. After disbanding in 1988, Revell went on to compose film and video game scores before returning decades later as SPKtR.
