Sondre Lerche is a Norwegian singer-songwriter who broke through as a teenager with his debut album Faces Down (2001), hailed by Rolling Stone as one of that year's most remarkable debuts. Over the following two decades he built a wide-ranging career spanning eleven studio albums, film scores - including the soundtrack to Dan in Real Life - and a stage role as Christian in the Norwegian production of Moulin Rouge! The Musical. His music moves fluidly between indie pop, jazz and singer-songwriter territory.
Sondre Lerche released his eleventh studio album Acrobats on August 21, 2026 via PLZ/Virgin, his first album with new material in more than four years.
Lerche announced Acrobats with the single 'Little Kids', with string arrangements by Sean O'Hagan (High Llamas) performed by the Stockholm Studio Orchestra.
With the announcement of Acrobats, Lerche also announced an extensive fall tour through the US, Europe and the United Kingdom.
