About

Skepta (born Joseph Olaitan Adenuga Jr., 1982, Tottenham, North London) is a British rapper, producer and fashion designer of Nigerian heritage, and one of the defining figures of grime. His 2016 album Konnichiwa won the Mercury Prize and brought him international recognition. Together with his brother JME he co-founded the Boy Better Know label and collective. Beyond music, he runs the independent design studio MAINS as creative director.
