Sjoerd van Eijck is a Dutch pianist and composer whose work sits between jazz, chamber music and contemporary improvisation. He wrote the compositions for the album Pegasus - inspired by astronomy and the cosmos - and recorded it with German cellist Jörg Brinkmann and Norwegian drummer Jarle Vespestad. The trio first came together in 2019 for a Carte Blanche concert at Paradox.
