Shawn Lee (born 1963 in Wichita, Kansas) is an American musician, producer and multi-instrumentalist who has been based in London for decades. He built an extensive solo catalogue through projects including Shawn Lee's Ping Pong Orchestra and composed the full soundtracks for the video games Bully and The Getaway. As one half of the London duo Young Gun Silver Fox - alongside vocalist Andy Platts - he crafts warm, '70s-influenced pop-soul; the pair released their fifth album Pleasure in May 2025.
'Kiss the Sky' by Shawn Lee's Ping Pong Orchestra is once again heard as the title track of the second season of the Apple TV+ series Hijack.
Young Gun Silver Fox released their fifth album Pleasure on 2 May 2025 via Blue Élan Records, recorded for the first time partly in the same studio.
In an interview, Andy Platts said that the duo had only four weeks to finish Pleasure after a European tour in December 2024.
Young Gun Silver Fox is currently touring through ten countries and has sixteen upcoming concerts planned, including dates in the Netherlands.
For early 2027, Dutch concerts are scheduled in Heerlen (Theater Heerlen, 28 January) and Arnhem (Musis Sacrum, 31 January).
