Kalben

Turkish singer-songwriter Kalben is regarded as one of the most distinctive voices from Istanbul. Drawing on folk, indie and acoustic pop, with artists like PJ Harvey, Sevinç Tevs, Nazan Öncel, David Bowie and Tom Waits as inspiration, she creates music that is intimate, poetic and emotionally direct. She was discovered in 2014 via Sofar Sounds, where a performance has since accumulated more than five million views on YouTube. Since then came beloved songs such as "Sadece", "Yara" and "Saçlar" and multiple major Turkish music awards.

In March 2026 her new album Land of Lost Poets was released, showcasing a darker and more atmospheric side of her songwriting - quiet acoustic moments alternate with bold emotional outbursts.

In autumn 2026, Kalben brings this new chapter to the stage with the Land of Lost Poets Tour.
