Seán Cannon (Galway, 1940) is an Irish singer and guitarist who joined The Dubliners in 1982 at the invitation of Luke Kelly, going on to become the group's lead vocalist for over 30 years. After The Dubliners retired the name in 2012, he continued as frontman of The Dublin Legends alongside fellow former Dubliners. He is the only remaining Dubliner in that group and keeps the classic Irish folk repertoire alive on stages across Europe. Christy Moore immortalised him in the song 'Lisdoonvarna'.
The Dublin Legends began the first phase of their farewell tour in 2026, the 'Further Along the Road Tour', with performances in the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany.
