Rodney Orpheus is the frontman and founder of The Cassandra Complex, the British post-punk and industrial band he formed in Leeds in the early 1980s. As vocalist, lyricist and producer, he has shaped the band's sound for over four decades - a blend critics have likened to Joy Division, the Ramones and Kraftwerk. Beyond the band, he has produced records for Die Krupps and The Future Sound of London, and authored "Abrahadabra", a practical guide to Thelema and Western magic.
The Cassandra Complex releases the album "Generating Station Complex" on 30 October 2026 via COP International, on 180-gram vinyl (limited to 700 copies) and on CD.
