Ripe is an American funk and alt-pop band that formed in 2011 at the Berklee College of Music in Boston. Fronted by Robbie Wulfsohn alongside guitarist Jon Becker, drummer Sampson Hellerman and trombonist Calvin Barthel, the band built its reputation almost entirely through relentless touring before releasing their debut album Joy in the Wild Unknown in 2018. Their third studio album, Play the Game (2025), was produced by Joe Chiccarelli and released on Glassnote Records.
