Plastilina Mosh
Mexican psychedelic rock band Plastilina Mosh takes the stage in Amsterdam for an extended evening performance.
Plastilina Mosh is a Mexican duo from Monterrey, formed in 1996 by vocalist/guitarist Jonás González and producer/multi-instrumentalist Alejandro Rosso. Part of the Avanzada Regia movement, they built a reputation for fusing indie rock, hip-hop, funk and electronics into a multilingual, genre-defying sound. Their 1998 debut 'Aquamosh' - recorded with Café Tacuba and Cypress Hill producer Jason Roberts - was named best album of the year in Mexico and yielded the signature hit 'Mr. P. Mosh'. Appearances at SXSW and the MTV Latin America Awards cemented their following on both sides of the Atlantic.
Plastilina Mosh plays for the first time in Amsterdam on August 29, 2026, at Toekomstmuziek - surrounded by Mexican street food and culture.
The 'Europe Tour 2026' also includes shows in Madrid (September 7) and Valencia (September 9), the duo's first European tour in years.
On June 13, 2025, they released the new single 'Conquistador', their second release of that year.
In 2023, 'Mosh & Mambo' was released, featuring classics from the band in mambo version.
In September 2024, they performed at the Teatro Metropolitan in Mexico City, where they played 'Conquistador' live for the first time.
