BORIS - PINK 20th Anniversary Tour
Japanese metal trio Boris performs their landmark album Pink in full for its 20th anniversary, with support from Planning for Burial.
Planning for Burial is the solo project of Thom Wasluck, a musician from Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania who has been recording and performing under the name since 2005. He handles every element himself - recording, artwork, booking and live performance - blending shoegaze, doom metal and slowcore into a dense, introspective sound. The project has built a devoted underground following over two decades, with appearances at Roadburn (2018 and 2026) and Robert Smith's Meltdown Festival in London.
Planning for Burial played two sets at Roadburn Festival 2026 in Tilburg: one regular set and one drone/ambient set.
Planning for Burial performed at the Somergloom festival in Somerville, Massachusetts.
Planning for Burial will tour Europe in October and November 2026 as support for Japanese band Boris, with stops in Verona, Milan, Vienna, London and Paris, among others.
The fourth studio album It's Closeness, It's Easy was released on May 30, 2025 via The Flenser - the first album in eight years.
Roadburn Festival announced Planning for Burial for the 2026 edition, partly to celebrate the new album.
