Pip Blom is an Amsterdam indie band led by singer-guitarist Pip Blom alongside her brother Tender Blom and bassist Darek Mercks. Their 2019 debut 'Boat' launched them to international attention, and five consecutive A-listed singles on BBC 6 Music cemented a strong UK following. The 2023 album 'Bobbie' marked a bold shift into synth-pop territory, earning the band a Dutch Edison Award in the Alternative category in 2024.
Pip Blom released the five-track EP 'Grip' as their first fully independent release, recorded in Pip's own studio in Amsterdam.
The band announced the 'Club Grip' tour: six club shows in the Netherlands (Tilburg, Leeuwarden, Amsterdam) and the United Kingdom to mark the EP release.
First single 'Ring' from the EP 'Grip' was played by BBC's Huw Stephens and VPRO's 3voor12.
Pip Blom won an Edison Award in the Alternative category for the album 'Bobbie', with the jury praising the new danceable sound that stays true to the band's DNA.
The band toured the United Kingdom and Ireland in support of the album 'Bobbie', with shows in London, Manchester and Dublin, among others.
😴 Nothing scheduled with this artist in the near future.
