Paul de Leeuw (born 26 March 1962 in Rotterdam) is one of the Netherlands' most versatile entertainers - comedian, singer, television presenter and actor. He rose to national fame in the late 1980s and 1990s with VARA shows such as 'De schreeuw van De Leeuw' and 'Mooi! Weer De Leeuw', the latter winning the Gouden Televizier-Ring in 2008. As a recording artist he scored several number-one hits, including 'Ik wil niet dat je liegt' in 1994, and has repeatedly been voted the most popular television personality in both the Netherlands and Flanders.
From September 2026, Paul de Leeuw plays one of the leading roles in the new cabaret musical 'We zijn toch familie', together with, among others, Annick Boer and Renée de Gruijl.
