Noura Mint Seymali is a Mauritanian singer rooted in the griot tradition, blending ancient West African court music with electric guitar and modern rhythms. She comes from a family of griots and trained in classical Mauritanian music from an early age. Together with her husband Jeiche Ould Chighaly on guitar, she creates a sound that bridges the Saharan past and the present.
