DJ Nobu is a Japanese DJ, producer and label head from Chiba who has been one of the most influential figures in international underground techno for over two decades. His sets move between deep hypnotic techno, experimental electronics and industrial textures - a sound he describes as a 'sonic stimulant'. Alongside his DJ work he runs the record label Bitta and organises the legendary Future Terror party series, which he founded in his hometown in 2001. He plays regularly at leading clubs such as Berghain in Berlin and fabric in London, and has released music on labels including Intercell, Counterpoint and his own Bitta.
