Myrthe Helder is a Dutch violinist and theatre-maker who weaves live music into theatrical storytelling. In Café Kaváfis, created with writer Abdelkader Benali and musicians from Orchestre Partout, she plays and shapes a show set in an imaginary Mediterranean café where travellers from Genoa, Aleppo, Amsterdam and beyond cross paths.
