Muylike is the project of Utrecht-based singer-songwriter and producer Stijn Post, who launched it in 2020 from his home studio. The name is a phonetic spelling of the Dutch word 'moeilijk' (difficult), a nod to how hard he found stepping into the spotlight. His indie pop - melodic guitar lines, sun-drenched harmonies - took him from the Popronde circuit to stages like Paradiso and the Ziggo Dome, where he supported Chef'Special. His 2024 album 'Darling' marked a shift toward piano-led, more intimate songwriting, shaped by a difficult breakup.
Muylike released the new single 'Lover, You Had To Throw It Away' in March 2026.
On Spotify, the album 'COUNT ME OUT' appeared in 2024 as part of Muylike's recent discography.
In April 2024, Muylike released the EP 'OH THE TIMES', with an indie rock and almost punk-like sound as a deliberate stylistic break from his summery debut album.
With the single 'Hold Me How You Always Do', Muylike announced his third album 'Darling', written after a painful break-up and characterized by piano instead of electric guitar.
Muylike reached the final of the Zonneprijs in February 2023 during the fifth edition of the event at Paradiso.
