About

Melanie C (Melanie Jayne Chisholm, born 1974) rose to global fame as Sporty Spice of the Spice Girls, the best-selling girl group of all time. After the group's hiatus she built a solo career spanning nine studio albums, two UK number-one singles, and a loyal fanbase across Europe. Her sound has shifted from post-Britpop and rock influences toward dance and house, a range she also explores as a DJ.
