Mollie Elizabeth
Mollie Elizabeth (22) grew up in the forested isolation of the Cascade Mountains in Washington, where she invented her own extravagant worlds as a child. That imagination forms the core of her orchestral pop music, which she describes as a timeless fairy tale - complex and distinctive, but never heavy.
After her breakthrough hit "Run Rabbit", she entered a new creative phase. In her music, she explores the most confusing and painful moments in life, but always from the conviction that these can also be beautiful and romantic. "From a young age I realized I had to see the world through rose-tinted glasses, and I genuinely believe that saved my life," she says.
What touches her most are the reactions from listeners who use her music to process difficult things. "That's the greatest compliment I can receive. I want everyone to feel safe and seen, and hopefully reconnect with parts of themselves they thought they might have lost."
