Mecano is a Spanish synthpop band that rose to fame in the 1980s and 1990s, becoming one of the biggest acts in Spanish-language pop music. The group consisted of singer Ana Torroja and brothers Nacho and José María Cano. Their hit "Hijo de la luna" brought them international recognition beyond the Spanish-speaking world.
