Marc Mauillon (born 1980 in Montbéliard) is a French singer who moves fluidly between baritone and tenor, covering a repertoire that spans medieval polyphony to contemporary opera. He came to prominence through William Christie's Jardin des Voix in 2002 and has since collaborated with leading ensembles including Les Arts Florissants, Jordi Savall's Hespèrion XXI, and Le Poème Harmonique. His complete recordings of Guillaume de Machaut earned the Diapason d'Or, and in 2010 he was nominated at the Victoires de la musique classique as Révélation Artiste Lyrique.
Mauillon sang the role of Pollux in Castor et Pollux by Rameau at the Opéra de Paris, conducted by Teodor Currentzis and directed by Peter Sellars.
On 24 January 2025, the album Boismortier: Les Quatre Saisons was released, on which Mauillon takes on the autumn cantata, recorded in the Chapelle du Petit Trianon in Versailles.
Mauillon played the role of Silvio in Bizet's Le Docteur Miracle at the Théâtre du Châtelet in Paris.
In the 2025-2026 season, Mauillon performs Toby in Offenbach's Robinson Crusoé at the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées and reprises his role of Bobinet in La Vie parisienne at the Opéra Royal de Versailles.
In the 2025-2026 season, Mauillon collaborates with Jordi Savall, Vincent Dumestre and Le Poème Harmonique, and brings a project around the polyphonic chansons of Josquin to life at the Opéra Normandie Rouen.
