Manuel Agnelli (Milan, 13 March 1966) is an Italian singer-songwriter, musician and record producer, best known as the frontman of alternative rock band Afterhours, which he founded in Milan in 1985. Albums such as Germi (1995), Hai paura del buio? (1997) and Ballate per piccole iene (2005) established the band as one of the most influential acts in Italian rock. Beyond Afterhours, he served as a judge on the Italian X Factor from 2016 to 2024 - mentoring Måneskin in 2017 - and released his debut solo album Ama il prossimo tuo come te stesso in 2022, ranked third among the best Italian albums of that year by Rolling Stone.
Agnelli launched together with GERMI and SIAE the three-year project 'Suoni dal Futuro': 96 free concerts in eight Italian cities for emerging bands.
The Afterhours reunion tour 'Ballate per piccole iene Tour 2025' attracted more than 100,000 visitors across Italy, with sold-out shows in cities such as Milan, Rome and Turin.
Afterhours released a special reissue of Ballate per piccole iene via USM / Universal Music Italia, twenty years after the original release.
Agnelli won the Italian edition of X Factor 2024 with his candidate Mimì Caruso, closing his final season as a jury member.
