Maarten Heijmans (Amsterdam, 1983) is a Dutch actor and singer, trained at the Amsterdamse Toneelschool & Kleinkunstacademie. He rose to prominence playing chansonnier Ramses Shaffy in the AVRO miniseries Ramses (2014), winning a Golden Calf, a Nipkowschijf and an International Emmy Award for the role. He has since worked across musicals, opera, film and his own theatre concerts, with a particular affinity for Dutch-language song.
Maarten Heijmans received the Johan Kaart Prize on June 15, 2026 in theater DeLaMar in Amsterdam, for his contribution to Dutch theater entertainment.
