Luís Vicente is a Portuguese trumpeter and composer working in free and contemporary jazz. Known for his adventurous sound and emotional depth, he leads a trio with double bassist Gonçalo Almeida and drummer Pedro Melo Alves. The group is one of the more distinctive voices in the current European improvised music scene.
