About

Library Card is a Rotterdam four-piece - Lot van Teylingen (vocals/spoken word), Mitchell Quitz (guitar), Kat Kalkman (bass) and Emre Karayalçin (drums) - who formed in the summer of 2021 from within the city's close-knit music scene. Their sound moves between angular post-punk, garage rock and post-rock, drawing on Protomartyr, Life Without Buildings and the poetry of Anne Clark. NRC compared them to Dry Cleaning, but more idiosyncratic. Within a year of their first gig they were playing SXSW, ESNS and Best Kept Secret, and touring Germany, France, Denmark and Austria.
