Kirk Brandon (born 3 August 1956) is an English singer, guitarist and songwriter, best known as the founder and frontman of Theatre of Hate and Spear of Destiny. Theatre of Hate's debut album 'Westworld' (1982), produced by Mick Jones of The Clash, reached the UK Albums Chart and established Brandon as a key figure in British post-punk. After Theatre of Hate disbanded in 1983 he formed Spear of Destiny, a band he has led for over forty years while writing all of its material.
Kirk Brandon performs in August 2026 both aKoustiK solo sets and shows with Spear of Destiny and a one-off performance with Theatre of Hate at the Rebellion Festival in Blackpool (sold out).
