Julia Sabaté (full name Julia Snijder Sabaté) is a Dutch-Spanish singer-songwriter from Zwolle who grew up between two cultures - her mother is Spanish, her father Dutch. After years as part of the americana duo Micah & Julia, she launched a solo career in 2021 and switched entirely to writing and singing in Spanish. Her music blends melodic pop with electronic and hip-hop influences, centring on themes of identity, doubt and self-discovery. She released her debut EP CALLADA in 2024; her debut album Egoísta, a fourteen-track exploration of coping mechanisms, is due in autumn 2026.
Julia Sabaté released 'Mi Aria', the fifth and final single for her debut album Egoísta.
The second Egoísta single 'Adelante' was released; the album is scheduled for September 2026.
For autumn 2026, a club tour through multiple Dutch cities is planned to celebrate the release of Egoísta.
Julia Sabaté received the Talent Prize of the Cultuurprijs Overijssel.
