Jim White

Jim White is an American singer-songwriter whose music blends folk, country and Americana into what critics have called "Country Noir" - dark, atmospheric songs rooted in the culture and contradictions of the American South. He was signed to David Byrne's Luaka Bop label in the late 1990s and has collaborated with Bill Frisell, Aimee Mann and Joe Henry.
