Jesse Hoefnagels (Rotterdam, 2001) first built a large following as a YouTuber under the name CjoelMovies before establishing himself as a recording artist. He makes electronic pop with Dutch-language lyrics, sitting between alternative pop and melancholic club music - danceable, but with a personal edge. His two EPs, Wakker in het donker (2025) and Dichter bij de dag (2026), form a diptych about heartbreak, doubt and letting go. He has performed at Lowlands, ESNS and Into The Woods.
