Jayda G (born Jayda Guy) is a Canadian DJ, producer and vocalist from Grand Forks, British Columbia, rooted in house, disco and funk. She holds a master's degree in resource and environmental management, a background that has shaped both her music and her public advocacy. Her 2020 single "Both of Us" earned a Grammy nomination for Best Dance Recording and remains her most-streamed release. Two albums on Ninja Tune - Significant Changes (2019) and Guy (2023) - alongside a landmark Boiler Room set at Dekmantel 2017 have cemented her place in the international dance music scene.
Jayda G was on the line-up of DGTL Amsterdam 2026 at the NDSM Docklands in Amsterdam.
Her single "Uncomfortable" was released in 2026 as her most recent release.
Her second studio album Guy, co-produced with Jack Peñate, was released on June 9, 2023 via Ninja Tune and received mostly positive reviews.
The album Guy won the award for Best Dance Record at the Libera Awards 2024.
"Both of Us" was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Dance Recording at the 63rd Annual Grammy Awards.
