Jalen Ngonda (born 1994 in Wheaton, Maryland) is an American soul singer and multi-instrumentalist based in England. Trained at the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts, he signed to Brooklyn's Daptone Records and broke through with his debut album Come Around and Love Me (2023), a record steeped in late-1960s Motown and Stax soul. His warm tenor voice has drawn praise from Elton John, Snoop Dogg and Jill Scott, among others. His sophomore album Doctrine of Love followed in June 2026.
