IDA

About

IDA is the solo project of Dutch singer Ida Weiler (born 2003), who makes Dutch-language electronic pop music she describes as 'hyperpop'. Together with regular producer MAZOO (Mick Mazoo) she combines sharp, introspective lyrics with eclectic, danceable productions on singles such as 'Kubus In Een Ballenbak', 'Niemand' and 'In De Steek', followed by the debut EP Komt Goed. She studied songwriting at the Rockacademie and broke through with a striking performance at Eurosonic Noorderslag, after which she played major Dutch venues including Paradiso, Melkweg, TivoliVredenburg and 013.
