About

Hammok are a post-hardcore trio from Oslo, Norway, formed during the 2020 pandemic by vocalist/guitarist Tobias Osland, bassist Ole Benjamin Thomassen and drummer Ferdinand Aasheim. They broke through internationally with their Pitchfork-praised debut EP JUMPING/DANCING/FIGHTING and a standout set at Eurosonic Noorderslag 2023. Their sound fuses hardcore aggression with noise rock, post-punk and experimental studio textures, drawing comparisons to Refused and Converge. In 2026 they signed to Sargent House for their second album.
