Fyodor is a six-piece band from Utrecht, formed in 2024, making vintage-tinged pop that is warm and melodic yet laced with sharp, sometimes wry lyrics. Drawing on the spirit of The Smiths and The Cure, they layer sparkling guitars with full arrangements. In 2025 they released their second EP, Yesterday's Aftermath.
Fyodor celebrated the release of their second EP Yesterday's Aftermath with a release show at De Schalm in Utrecht on September 6, 2025.
The band performed at Tivoli in Utrecht as part of their activities around the new EP.
Yesterday's Aftermath was also programmed at EKKO in Utrecht, one of the most important venues for emerging talent in the city.
