French Kiss is a Dutch ensemble working at the intersection of soul-jazz, funk and free improvisation. Founded and led by composer Ferdinand van Duuren, the band has spent nearly thirty years developing a musical language where composition, improvisation and intuition blur into one another. Live, the five musicians bring their own experience and personality to the music - raw, direct and never entirely predictable.
