Emily Cross

About

Emily Cross is the singer and multi-instrumentalist of American indie band Loma, formed in 2016 in Dripping Springs, Texas, alongside Jonathan Meiburg (Shearwater) and producer Dan Duszynski. Her hushed, ethereal voice is the sonic core of the band, which records for Sub Pop. The trio has released three albums - 'Loma' (2018), 'Don't Shy Away' (2020) and 'How Will I Live Without a Body?' (2024) - and attracted praise from Brian Eno, among others. Outside Loma, Cross records as Cross Record and works as an end-of-life doula in Dorset, England.
