About
David Duchovny (New York, 1960) is an American actor, writer and singer-songwriter, best known worldwide as FBI agent Fox Mulder in The X-Files and as Hank Moody in Californication - roles that earned him two Golden Globes. Alongside his acting career he has released four studio albums of folk-rock and Americana, written seven books, and in 2025 made his debut as a poet with the collection About Time. He tours Europe regularly with his band.
