Danny Vera (born Danny Polfliet, Middelburg, 31 May 1977) is a Dutch singer-songwriter who blends Americana, vintage rock and classic 1970s pop. He took his stage name in honour of his mother Vera, who died when he was 24. After years on smaller stages, he broke through in 2019 with 'Roller Coaster', which topped the NPO Radio 2 Top 2000 in 2020 - only the second time a Dutch artist had claimed that position. He has since performed at the country's biggest venues, including a sold-out Ziggo Dome show with a 50-piece orchestra.
