About
Counterparts are a Canadian metalcore band from Hamilton, Ontario, formed in 2007. Fronted by vocalist Brendan Murphy, they are known for pairing melodic guitar work with punishing breakdowns across seven studio albums, including The Difference Between Hell and Home (2013) and A Eulogy for Those Still Here (2022). In November 2024 they surprised fans with the EP Heaven Let Them Die on Pure Noise Records, their most aggressive release to date.
