Celine Cairo performs at de Doelen in Rotterdam.
Celine Cairo (Amsterdam, 1990) is an independent singer-songwriter whose music weaves indie-folk with cinematic chamber pop. Her debut album Free Fall (2016), recorded in Los Angeles, brought her international recognition - the streaming hit 'Hibernate' landed in major US series including Love, Victor and Queen Sugar. With Overflow (2021) and her third album Panacea (2026), she has built a loyal following on both sides of the Atlantic, with sold-out shows at Paradiso, TivoliVredenburg and the Royal Concertgebouw.
Celine Cairo released her third studio album Panacea on June 18, 2026 via label Ivy, simultaneously with a show at the Melkweg in Amsterdam.
The single 'Woman' appeared in March 2026 as the third preview of Panacea; the music video, featuring Cairo's 90-year-old grandmother Hélène, was filmed on a wintry beach near Amsterdam.
In January 2026, Cairo announced the title track 'Panacea' - recorded on a Wurlitzer piano at home in Amsterdam with partner and co-producer Benjamin Rheinländer, featuring strings from India Bourne (band of Ben Howard).
In spring 2025, Cairo gave three exclusive solo concerts in the Netherlands, where she played piano for the first time alongside her guitars.
😴 Nothing scheduled with this artist in the near future.
