About
Borgore is the stage name of Israeli producer and DJ Yosef Asaf Borger, born on 20 October 1987 in Tel Aviv. He started out as a drummer in the deathcore band Shabira before fusing his metal background with dubstep into a self-coined style he calls 'gorestep'. His 2012 single 'Decisions' featuring Miley Cyrus broke him into the mainstream; he has since collaborated with Waka Flocka Flame, Diplo and Juicy J, and performed at Coachella, Glastonbury and Lollapalooza. In 2010 he founded Buygore Records, a label that has also launched careers for other electronic artists.
