Banned From Utopia is an American supergroup made up of former members of Frank Zappa's backing band The Mothers of Invention. Formed in the 1990s following Zappa's death in 1993, the group performs his music with the technical precision, humor and improvisation that defined his work. The name is a nod to his album The Man From Utopia.
