Autechre is the British electronic duo of Rob Brown and Sean Booth, both from Rochdale, Greater Manchester. Signed to Warp Records since their 1993 debut Incunabula, they have spent over three decades pushing IDM and abstract electronica into increasingly uncharted territory across fifteen studio albums. Their live shows - performed in complete darkness - are each distinct, improvised sets, making every performance a one-off.
Autechre announced a European tour of 24 shows between 24 September and 24 October 2026, with performances in Prague, Athens, Milan, Vienna, Munich, Marseille, Paris, Dublin and Cardiff, among others.
Autechre made their debut in Latin America with a performance at the MUTEK MX festival in Mexico City.
Autechre completed their first North American tour in ten years, with shows in cities such as Denver, Los Angeles, Chicago, Toronto and New York.
Autechre performed on 6 August 2025 at the Melkweg in Amsterdam as part of their European summer tour.
Autechre expanded the AE_2022- live series with twelve new recordings of shows from 2023 and 2024, bringing the series to nineteen sets.
